Hey,
This past month has been intense—a little chaotic, but also really good. I don’t want to actively talk about politics and hall the sh*t that is happening because I know you know what I’m talking about and you don’t need ME to act like the news. And I know that it is even more important to connect with joy and community in those days to balance the overwhelming feeling of “world is going to sh*t let’s don’t care anymore”.
Communitywhise I had few magic moments at Strangeland (check Strangeland Blog) , then I finished my second month of the Graphic Journal Challenge (soon the video but I already told you about the first month), spent time teaching in schools full of curious kids, tried (and failed) to organize my studio, and even created a special t-shirt to celebrate it all.
My new vlog kind of sums up this whole chaotic energy:
A slow morning with coffee and stretching
Taking a little train (more like an outdoor subway) to teach Graphic Journal to kids
Schools by the sea, the Bay of Aytré, and small moments of beauty between classes
Struggling with DIY projects in my studio—trying (and failing) to put up plexiglass shelves
Getting sidetracked talking about the fact that my house is full of silly toys (so much so that my friend Ben calls it “The Dollhouse”)
And in the end, a little reflection on what it actually means to be an artist—it’s not just sitting at a desk drawing, but all of this combined.

The T-Shirt That Marks a Moment
February was special for another reason—I spent the whole month posting my transition series: Sleeping In A Binder on instagram. Maybe I talked about it in an email a while ago?? I don’t remember, anyway, it was an interesting experiment that made me reflect a lot on my work, my body, and identity.
To mark the end of this experience, I created a special t-shirt with a design that means a lot to me. It’s available for a limited time at a very low price—just enough to cover costs, because for me, this was more about celebrating the moment (print-on-demand means I barely make anything, but if everyone who loved the comic grabs one… you get the idea. 😜).
