Hey friends,
After many months of silence I came back on the podcast (on Balboa Park) only for receiving one of those cosmic reminders to slow down:
I recorded an entire 30-minute podcast — and forgot to turn on the microphone 🎙️🙃
At first, I was frustrated. But when I sat down to re-record, something shifted.
That silence became a mirror.
A space to realize how much pressure I had been putting on myself to produce drawings, videos, reels, podcasts, Patreon updates, tattoos, classes… everything had to “count.”
Somewhere along the way, I had stopped creating just for the pleasure of it.
Then came knitting.
Knitting became my safe zone, a space where I could make, unmake, leave things unfinished, and it didn’t matter. It didn’t have to be monetized or posted. It just was.
And that felt like oxygen.
In this episode I talk about:
🧶 How knitting saved my creativity
📔 My failed “one graphic journal per month” challenge
📕 The French release of Transformer (with fluorescent pinks!)
💭 And why human connection *not productivity* is what keeps me going.
If you’ve ever felt like you “should” be creating more, or better, or faster… this one’s for you.
